COMING SOON… Door Numbers, colours and Feng Shui

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be launching my ceramic door numbers this year.

I’ve taken my time with them – testing the strength of the adhesive pads and making sure the tiles can truly withstand the elements. They’ve been exposed to everything from freezing temperatures, rain and snow through to warm summer days… and so far, things are looking very promising!

Each piece is handmade, carefully finished, and designed to be both practical and beautiful.

When choosing the colour schemes, I was inspired by the principles of Feng Shui – the idea that colour and material can influence the energy that flows into your home. Your front door is considered the “mouth of chi” – the place where opportunity and energy enter.

Each colour corresponds to one of the five elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—and is associated with specific directions, energies, and intentions. Choosing the right door color can help align your home with your personal goals and the natural flow of energy.

How Door Colors and Feng Shui Work Together

    • Benefits: Attracts attention, positive energy, and vibrancy.

  2. Blue (Water Element)

    • Symbolism: Calmness, trust, and abundance.

    • Best For: North-facing doors (Water energy direction).

    • Benefits: Encourages flow and new opportunities.

  3. Green (Wood Element)

    • Symbolism: Growth, health, and renewal.

    • Best For: East or Southeast-facing doors (Wood energy areas).

    • Benefits: Supports communication and helpful people.

Tips for Using Door Colours in Feng Shui

  • Keep It Clean: A beautifully painted door loses its power if it’s dirty or chipped. Clean and maintain it regularly to keep energy flowing.

  • Pair with Decorations: Complement your door color with appropriate décor, such as plants, lights, or welcome mats, to amplify its energy.

  • Personal Intentions: Choose a color that resonates with your goals—whether it's wealth, harmony, or protection.

Transform your entrance into a powerful portal of positive energy with the perfect Feng Shui color. After all, the right door color doesn’t just open to your home—it opens to opportunity, harmony, and abundance!
